After having breakfast at the hotel, Your city guide will take you for a full day of sightseeing around Kathmandu City. From 9.30 am to 5.00 pm. During our sightseeing period, First, We visit Patan Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and finally Pasupatinath Temple.
Patan Durbar Square is the main attraction in Lalitpur, the city of fine arts. The palace complex of Malla rulers is home to well-preserved monuments of historical and cultural importance. Krishna Mandir, Keshav Narayan Chowk, Sundari Chowk, the Roal Palace, and Royal Bath are masterpieces of medieval culture. Likewise, the palace complex is home to many ancient monuments.
Swoyambhunath stupa stands on a lovely little hillock located at a distance of 4 km from the Thamel. This religiously significant site for Buddhists is also popular among Hindu devotees and people of other faiths. This peaceful and calm hill commands a picturesque view of the Kathmandu valley and a splendid panorama of the Himalayan range.
Boudhanath Stupa, an ancient and one of the largest stupas in the world, Boudhanath or the Khasa Chaitya, is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal.
Pasupatinath Temple's existence dates back to 400 A.D. The temple's astonishing architectural beauty symbolizes faith, religion, culture, and tradition. The beautiful, richly - ornamented pagoda-styled temple house the sacred linga or phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. Thousands of pilgrims worldwide come to this temple annually to respect Lord Shiva. Pashupatinath temple is also known as "The temple of Living Beings."

Early breakfast at Kathmandu hotel and drive Lumbini approximately 8 hours. During your journey, you can also visit the Shaswatdham Temple on the way to Naval Paris. Further, continue to drive one more hour to the Lumbini hotel and check-in. Rest of the day, explore the Lumbini Bazar on your own

Lumbini
Maya Devi temple: The Mayadevi temple is the most important temple among the ancient heritages located within the Lumbini garden. The temple houses the ancient idol of Mayadevi, the Birth Maker Stone and the ruins from the 3rd century B.C. to the 7th century B.C. The temple's interior has a heavenly, peaceful environment that brings to life the prophecy from ancient times. Tourists love to take photographs of the treasure trove of ancient artifacts. It takes 10 - 15 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by rickshaw to reach the Mayadevi temple from the main entrance of Lumbini.
HOLY PUSHKIRINI LAKE: Before giving birth to Lord Buddha, his mother Mayadevi took a bath in the sacred Pushkirini Lake near the Ashok Pillar to the south. The ancient lake is a major attraction for tourists. It is traditionally believed that Lord Buddha was bathed with the water from the same lake after his birth.
Ashok pillar: The Ashok Pillar, located within the Lumbini Garden, is an important historical heritage. Famous Mourya emperor, Ashok of Magadh in India, had ordered the Pillar erected in 249 BC while on a pilgrimage following the advice of his spiritual teacher Upagupta. Emperor Ashok had erected the Pillar along with a stone tablet with an inscription saying, "Shakyamuni Buddha was born here" The Pillar and the inscription stand as a testament of Lumbini being the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The Ashok Pillar has proven that Lord Buddha was born in Nepal. The Pillar stands adjacent to the Mayadevi Temple.
BIRTH MAKER STONE: The Stone Maker of Lord Buddha's birthplace is preserved within the Mayadevi Temple enclosed in a glass box. The marker stone precisely marks the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The marker stone was unearthed in 1996 A.D. during an archaeological excavation.
An idol of MAYADEVI: The 3 feet tall idol of Mayadevi carved on a stone tablet is estimated to have originated in the 4th century. The idol is located in the sanctum of the Mayadevi Temple. However, the carved figure over the stone tablet has eroded, and the carved figures have been obscured. The idol is also known as the birth. It depicts the Birth of Lord Buddha. The idol shows Mayadevi learning from a tree while giving birth, and two heavenly messengers await to receive Buddha. The figure of infant Buddha is at the center of the idol.
World peace stupa: The World Peace Stupa was constructed at Lumbini to spread the message of peace, friendship, and goodwill in the world and raise awareness to keep the earth pure and clear. The 42.5 m tall stupa is one of the major attractions of Lumbini. The stupa was constructed as p; the art of the campaign by Japanese Buddhist preacher Fujing to construct World Peace Stupas in different parts of the world. It takes 40-50 minutes to reach the World Peace Stupa from the Mayadevi Temple. Few tourists arriving at Lumbini miss a visit to the World's Peace Stupa. The heavenly serene atmosphere around the stupa and the attractive piece of art that adorn the stupa entice the visitors
World peace flame: The eternal World Peace Flame is a major attraction of the Lumbini garden, located at the center of the garden. Tourists flock to observe the flame kept glowing uninterrupted 24 hours a day. The then Prince Gyanendra Shah lighted the flame on 1st November 1986 A.D. The flame representing peace and fraternity in the world was brought from the United States of America as part of the celebration of the International Peace Year. The eternal flame can be reached at the end of a 10-minute walk from the Mayadevi.
