Itinerary

At the meeting point of several ancient Asian civilizations, the Kathmandu Valley is home to at least 130 significant monuments, including a number of Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage sites. You will see every important location in the valley on this quick tour. Though, like most Asian cities, Kathmandu is a bustling, vibrant place, it is becoming busier these days. Even so, the ancient and the modern coexist fairly well, with internet cafes and ancient temples often tucked away in their own unique atmosphere. As soon as you leave the city, you are met by a verdant, lush valley filled with small villages, each with a unique tale to share. You will have ample time to absorb the centuries-old local way of life over the course of the four days, and your guide will be available to answer any questions you may have. The tour offers an opportunity to observe and experience a radically distinct pace from Nepali rural life and its customs. There are also some fantastic locations along the valley's edge that offer you unparalleled views of the Himalayas' massive snow-capped peaks.
